Hello, I hope this is ok to do this but I need some help to find out if a badge I have is real, someone has just offered me £800 for it and I had no idea it was worth that sort of money! Where can I go to check it's provenance?

It is real. Worth lot more than 800 pounds.
I found it in my loft 30 years ago, bought the house off a Polish lady who's husband was called Stanislaw Parda (both the lady and her husband had passed away before I bought the house)
Stanislaw Parda, Sr. Private 1SBS. Was in Market Garden. Fought in Arnhem. badge # 4263/590

Yes it is. Last one sold for $2950. Roughly 2040 pounds.

no uniforms just the badge, I nearly threw it, I was having a clear out and put it on ebay for a £5... I obviously need to re-think
