Nice KM buckle! These are hard to find in nice condition! At least you still have the KM stamp on the tab! Great buckles!

Indeed it is very hard to find such nice KM buckle
I was looking for this condition for a long time
Maybe it will sound strange but I must admit that I dont like tabed buckles, I prefer buckles without tabs

Hi Piotr,
I think I know what you mean about those tabs. They're good, in most cases, for guaranteeing the authenticity of the buckle, but I like the buckle to speak for itself. You never see them with SS, of course, and those are the best. Something to think about. Thanks for the thought. sincerely, rick

Yes, it seems that it was painted with black paint.

Who ever cleaned did a great job not damaging the original gilding. Only a little left to take off & it's perfect.
