Top, left to right: Reichsbahn and two political
Second row: first political and middle is state official (I believe)
all other nazi symphatizers I guess. The lower one was in
    use by many organizations.

Can't tell from the photos if they are okay!

I checked various catalogues and it was for me a surprise
in none of them the swastika buttons were offered. So, to
be honest I have no idea for what they were used. I thought
it could be for symphatizers. I had a look at hunderds and
    hunderds of buttons. No answer!

    A few I scanned from the Assmann-catalogue:

    Buttons
a special button for the Reichsbahn-greatcoat

    Buttons

    Buttons
for state officials; diplomats had a globe with eagle.

Thanks for this its a good learning tool. The swastika buttons i assumed had some denotation of rank being gold and silver in colour, but they are a mystery at present. The rears arent much help. I convinced myself there was an Assman A but its just corrosion

True, i had visions of them being for a branch of the ost territories government or such like, one of those where the hope was more than the reality. If they are bogus then they have been manufactured to a high standard. Perhaps the answer will turn up in the fullness of time.
