Can anyone tell me what this is?

Hello all,

can anyone tell me what this little pot is for or what it was used for i shall try to describe as best i can.
Item measures approx 7cm across 3.5cm tall 22cm in diameter it has a heavy lining inside with a short screwtop lid with insignia there is also some inscription on the bottom that has either been faded with age or scratched off but some words can be made out,

1945

wanting to know if it is a sought after collectable or wether a collector would like to buy it

Hi Stuart, no problem, these are fantasy items made in Poland. The lid has a design taken from a belt buckle. We have seen them on the forum before.
