Re: Can you help me identify this German cuff title??
Hmm, i think this is a fantasy item, the name on the cuff title says "General Feldmarschall Von Hindenburg". Which would mean that it was worn by Paul Von Hindenburg himself ( Paul von Hindenburg - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia ), which I doubt.

Actually, the group has its origins in '22/23, and was officially organized in 1926. Therefore, it's not outside of the realm of possibility that he may have been in the HJ, but it seems unlikely.
The cuff, however, looks to be complete fantasy...

With the name and time frame of the piece, it seems as though it would be in much worse condition than it is - even if it was kept in good conditions. It looks in excellent condition, a little too excellent.

Re: Can you help me identify this German cuff title??
There was a short lived Freikorps group with this title from 1919 as well as an army battalion (Selbstschutz Battalion Generalfeldmarschall von Hindenburg), with the latter wearing an armband with this exact name, however, the ones I have seen were all black and white...

It would be nice to open the backside and get a picture. It reminds me to todays patches because the new sewing-machines need an underlay on the backside. As i can see in your picture, it is a white underlay. So i think, it is a bad one. Search here for other pictures of armbands especially the backsides. You will see the different immediately.
