red tag which I believe is for the HJ, if I am not mistaken. Or not, I am not really sure. I know where to look, but I am too exhausted and somehow seized of ennui. It must be the internet. I have no powers of concentration any more.

Here is its side. It was a wonderful cap. But it went to a new home. It fell into asphalt at some point in the distant past, which you can see somewhat on the side. Such is normal in spring time, when re paving was the norm in German municipalities of yore. It was a cap of very early make. I had a dozen or so SA kepis, but I sold them all to a good colleague, who is a leading collector in the US.
