There is a real badge like this, its the Civil badge of Heimatflakartillerie, but I don't know if the one you show is original or not. See here for one description.

Poor quality of a genuine design. In my opinion, not of the period.

Almost invariably, when you see this same identical artificially aged with fake dirt, it is a give away sign of fraud. Quite often, you see this same "dirt in the design details" now on eBay in "old German WWII rings". I actually corresponded with one of the eBay ring people doing this for some time-he was offering a beautiful silver ring that had no connection at all to anything TR or military and was, in fact, brand new but they would apply this horrid coating of whatever substance they were using and it would come out looking like this stick pin-like it had dirt in it from being dug up from the ground-which of course it hadn't been. I told him why did he bother at all? He could have simply offered the rings for sale brand new and shiny and people would buy them for what they were. Sadly, he did not agree and I still see him (and his several other eBay names) selling the same silly fake dirt covered stuff and people are still buying them up thinking they are buying Olddddd German rings....
