D.D.A.C w/ Eagle w/ Swatstika Plaque(?) - very good condition - inscribed w/ "GES. GESCHUTZT P.S." on back of plque

Hopefully I got the right forum for this. Not sure what I'd call this. Medal? Plaque? Almost looks like a Belt Buckle??

Any idea what this is?

Is it authentic? Value?

I cannot comment on value and authenticity, but is a car plaque for DDAC members, intended to be mounted on a motor vehicle's radiator grill.
(DDAC = "Der Deutsche Automobil-Club", i.e. "The German Automobile Club"; equivalent to the AAA in the U.S.A. or the AA in Britain.)

Thanks for all your help. You really are a wealth of knowledge. Not sure I ever would have figured out what this was.

Medals are fairly basic and I was able to match most of them up (authenticating is another story). But these odd items / coins are proving hard to ID so thank you again.
