Dem 6 Sieger Essen April 1934 Sash - what for ?

Hello,
Would members know what this sash was presented for? perhaps a sports sash, but which sport ? two piece, red silk background, white circle with printed swazy. Any information welcome.

Sorry, but it is actually not "victory", but "winner" or "victor":

Sieg [pl. Siege] = victory; Sieger = winner, victor.

It's for somebody who scored 6th place, but it is impossible to say in what sport, or, for that matter, if it was a sports event at all, as it could have been some other kind of competition/contest.

I'll do some research on google, emphasis events Essen April 1934 perhaps I may dig something up. Still inclined to believe the sash may have a sports connection. If I turn something up, will report back.
