Edelweiss Cap Insignia - Authentic?
I am looking through my collections and turning up some interesting stuff. Most of my interests have been centered in firearms and edged weapons, however I have been finding many other items that have been gathered over the years. This is one.

It looks okay, but is it?
Do not forget this Edelweiss form (and also all other forms) is
heavily and above all perfectly faked, for example a Gustav
Brehmer version with 41!
One question, which disturbs me: why is the middle part not
yellow colored as it should be (the prongs at the reverse also
should have that color) and why has this form three prongs at
the reverse? I know there exist flowers with three prongs, but
these always then are yellow colored!
