Is this one of the hundreds of fakes on the market or is it a good one?

its generaly acknowledged that if its coffin shaped pin mount,its fake.

I too know that the coffin shaped pin base plate is put on hundreds of the modern reproductions but this one has a large oval pin plate.
If you look at the coffin plates they always have straight edges at both ends so I am still hoping that this is a good one

Hello Tom, Thanks for your promising response
I am fairly convinced that it is good but would like some more informed opinions.
I typed flugmeldedienst in to google images and a shedfull of these badges turned up...mostly on Germanwarbooty (I don't know how good their stock is) which are exactly this badge.

I did have a look at that thread earlier but I think the Aurich badges were poo pooed somewhere later on in the forum world.
This badge has good provenance so I am still optimistically confident that it is good
