    Yes it does look like a used original.
    These have been faked a plenty. The accepted originals were made by Preissler, as the first image shows here, followed by two reproductions also showing the same makers details. I have never owned an ES marked badge before, and apart from Ersatzstück (replacemnet piece) i cant think what else ES could mean. the last image with the OS logo is also a post war repro.
    These would make a study-subject on their own.
