Article about: I believe this is a Factory Protection Police eagle , not sure of the German title of this organization . It is one of my favorite eagle designs , very art-deco . I haven't see this on this

    I believe this is a Factory Protection Police eagle , not sure of the German title of this organization . It is one of my favorite eagle designs , very art-deco . I haven't see this on this site before so i thought I'd post it for your input .

    Correct. The German term is Werkschutz.

    This is a cap eagle that is seldom encountered. Thanks for showing it. As you did not ask the question, I know you are aware that it is an original piece.

    Thank you Bob , your opinion is always welcome , and appreciated . I wasn't to worried about it being fake , if they were , there would be seen more . But I consider it the nicest looking of all TR adlers . Very glad you liked it .

    The correct word for this cap eagle = Werksicherheitsdienst not Werkschutz. Werksicherheitsdienst
    was the general title for the "Werkschutz der Luftfahrtbetriebe". Official abbreviation WSD. The same
    insignia was also allowed to be worn by fire-brigades from a company (Werkfeuerwehr).
    (Uniformen-Markt, number 24 from December 15, 1937. Page 375 shows the new uniform, page the 377
    the cap badge).
