Feldherrnhalle - Mahnmal Type of Eagle?

Article about: Still a nice decorative piece, David. Possibly for a photo album? Mil

Default Feldherrnhalle - Mahnmal Type of Eagle?

I wonder if anybody recognises this eagle and if so, what the purpose was?

It is probably my "gilding the lilly" imagination, however the eagle does have a slight whiff by style as the one which once graced the Feldherrnhalle - Mahnmal.

Two dimensional and standing 68 mm tall with two points to the reverse which would suggest that the eagle was once affixed - to something?

Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated.

    Regards,

    David

I like it David and yes, it is a Kurt Schmid Ehmen design which is the same as on the Mahnmal.

I like it! Yes it's similar and was probably attached to something, such as this....

The head of this eagle looks odd compared to the usual pissed off eagles around here.

Try as I may, I just cannot fathom the meaning of this quite enigmatic and most eloquent response. Alas we will now never know, as it would appear that the author of post number 9 has been "Banned" from the forum.
