No idea mate, all I will say is that it has a very close resemblance to some post war East German gear. I am not saying that is not a genuine WW2 Forestry item, it is just so difficult to say. Leon
Thanks - I know the acorns are missing from the tabs (2 per side).

So it is all original as per waf experts on forestry, but missing collar tabs as it was re-used post-war. So now it is time to find those :-)
With some help and research, I found the coat belonged to Revierfoerster Horst Quednau. He was the Revierfoerster since 1934 at Rekowe/Rekau near Ortelsburg in East Prussia and was killed in 1943 in Russia while serving with 3rd Company of Pionier-Bataillon 41 in Stalingrad.
This is the set of tabs I need :-)
