I have been reading on this forum that "coffin" shaped pin backs are a sign it could be a fake. Is that only true for certain pins? If so which ones?

The coffin-shaped pin plates can be found on NSDAP membership badges as well as many other badges. Here for example is one on a HJ badge.

Although also kind of coffin-shaped, the pin plate on your badge is different from those indicating a fake. Yours in fact is often found on these badges and you should have no worries. Your NS-Frauenschaft pin is a nice original one for the Ortsgruppe level.
