A friend's collection.

Article about: Thanks David but I'm far from an expert on these badges. Along with the 1929 RPT badges and the 31 SA Treffen badges, are the ones that I have done the most research on.

Sweet, they will be happy to know what it's worth, and I will do my best to sell it as a lot.

Ok, here's some more. I think the ribbon goes with the star like medal, but it wasn't attached to anything.

While it would be nice to keep them all together, selling these as a group might prove ticky due to the cost involved.

    Next your friend has:

    Tag der Arbeit 1935 tinnie

    Two SA sports badges

    WHW Medal

Ribbon for a War Merit Cross 2nd class.

    Standard NSDAP party armband

    Late war HJ belt buckle

    DAF insignia

    Cheers, Ade.

    Thanks again.

    Ok, now here's the helmet.
An original 'NS64' Heer (Army) helmet.

All great items. Everything has held up reasonably well over the years................!

    Thanks.

Here is something that is kind of interesting. It's a pennant, that I believe the soldier may have attached the pins to as he was collecting them. I've shown some of the pins up close as well. The eagle in the circle is very small, and can be seen in the middle of the white part of the flag. This may have been originally stuck there.

I believe they all were put there by the soldier who was collecting them.
In the center of the Sigrune, is a small 'NSDAP Long Service Medal'
emblem for a ribbon bar. this would not have originally been
attached to the Hitler Youth pennant.

There is a miniature of the actual medal in bronze, and another identical
eagle/wreath emblem hanging off a pin in the center of the pennant.

These are all so very cool to see................!
    Regards,

    Steve.

This is really great, its nice to see all original items brought back by one veteran, and you know that they are original
That pennant with the pins is quite cool, this would be soething a soldier would do to collect the pins he came across.
    Thanks for showing!
    Regards,
    Finn

What a great collection of original vet bring backs, if you can afford it why dont you offer to buy some of the items yourself, especially the helmet and possibly as many as you can afford, the SS items should fetch a fair sum along with the fallshirmjager badge and the pennant, it would be the start of a nice little collection plus your friends should do well from the sale
