Hey guys, a recent pickup. Any idea if it is original. I have never owned one of these but it looked interesting.

Damn good quality to be a fake or fantasy IMO. ( great photography too)

It's a known fake unfortunately. The white paint is incorrect, it should be cream coloured.
Genuine badge.
Yours.
On the reverse, note the differences in the pin length, the genuine one being longer than yours. And the non flattened catch crimp on the original compared to the completely flat one on your badge.
Original.
Yours.
And finally, note the spacing between the letters "H" and "M" on the original, they are closer together than all the other letters of the makers mark.
Whereas on your badge the space between the "H" and "M", and in fact ALL the letters of "BREHMER" are exactly the same and uniform in type.
I hope you can get your money back.
Regards, Ned.

I have noticed a few of these for sale since I have started posting... Very convincing.. But "Cream" colored is the most pertinent sign..... As always POST here first before shelling out Quid or U.S.D. or any currency for that matter..
I'd rather be A "RaD Man than a Mad Man "
