These were souvenir irems sold in the unit's canteen. I once found one for the 100th Gebergsjaeger Division . I had a man working for me that served in that unit and gave it to him as a gift. He got very excited to see it and told me he had one just like that. When asked whatever happened to his he said "some Yankee stole my watch when I was captured."
