Fake, IMO. The badge looks new and the pin/catch
arrangement is like nothing I've ever seen on a
period pin or badge.

( I tried to remove the General Assalut badge pic,
but It is still showing......... )

It does look new, but I have seen this kind of pin on these badges before, also on Deutscher Kriegerbund bagdes.
