    Hi,

I have in my collection one original complet DRK mannequin , and one tunic not mounted . The two tunics and the trousers comes from my uncle, DRK helfer during WW2.
Your tunic looks like an original, but the armsripes are after war.
    Regards
    Carfin

Forgive me if this is a bit off-topic, but I feel that it should be of interest for the DRK collectors as a bit of additional info on context and historical continuity.

The long service stripes as seen on this tunic were again used after the war (I have uniform regulations from 1965 that contain them) but were later abolished in favor of ribbon bars. Here are the long service ribbons for 5, 10 and 15 years:

For a period of time, the post-war collar patches had "rank" devices in the form of metal bars and chevrons below the metal Red Cross emblem. These devices were later abolished for rectangular cloth sleeve badges, leaving once again only the Red Cross device on the collar patches. (Doctors had special blue collar patches with an Aesculapius Rod.)
These collar patches, bearing a strong similiarity to their 3rd Reich equivalents were worn into the 1990s:

Great bit of information, thank you.
    Cheers.

The buckle is good but the eagle painted red is not correct sir. Probably done post war.

Some nice DRK items shown here... I believe the DRK armband attached and which I recently posted is a the exact same as the one Nuno shows in this thread, just unsewn and with a bit of a lighter stamping.

    Best,
    Adam
