Hi Steve, these are more than mere donation pins. They are badges issued for taking part in the HJ sports festivals. Wartime ones also came in metal. Here is a 1943 example from my collection. BTW the 1934 badge was made from ceramic.

I really like them and there are so many variations of organizational badges that can be had for modest prices.
Nazi military design and insignia art was classic "art decco" even though Hitler was adament about fine arts being realistic. Nazi tinnies are an over looked area of German collecting that to me can be very satisfying for a modest budget that can still be found in quanity.
I totally agree with you Steve. I love art deco design and it is ironic that so many designs still have that influence despite Hitler's dislike.
