Merz ???

i've got a metal and enamel badge with the lettering "MERZ" that came with a collection of original German war relics. It has no RZM mark on the back. Could it be a Third Reich artifact? Thanks for your help.

Sorry I can't provide pictures. The badge is perfectly round, about the size of a U.S. half dollar, and the enamel is white.

I think you have got it, Klinger. The lettering is very similar. So I am guessing that it is an employee identification badge. Did MERZ pharma have any Third Reich associations?
