Hi James, Robert is correct.
The SS cuff title for Regiment "Nordwest" is the usual RZM style.

Courage the greater as our strength faileth.
Here lies our leader ,in the dust of his greatness.
Who leaves him now , be damned forever.
We who are old now shall not leave this Battle,
But lie at his feet , in the dust with our leader

Hi James, yours is the members cuff title.
Cheers, Ade.
This is a cuff title of the NS-Reichskriegerbund, the german veterans association. Established on March 6, 1938 for all members of NS-Reichskriegerbund. For normal members it is made of silvergrey viscose silk, for staff-members made of silver metal thread and for leaders made of golden metal thread.
The correct name for it is "Landesgebietsarmbinde" and starting from April 1, 1939 "Gaukriegerverbandsarmbinde". The words "Landesgebiet" and "Gau" means same as "county" or "state".
Following you wil find a complete list of these cuff titles:
1. NORDOST
2. NORD, renamed May 20, 1940 to "OSTSEE"
3. NORDWEST
4. OST , renamed February 1, 1940 to "SPREE"
5. MITTE
6. WEST
7. SÜDOST
8. ELBE
9. FULDA-WERRA

16. WEICHSEL, started January 1, 1940
17. WARTHE, started January 1, 1940

On March 3, 1943 Hitler liquidated the NS-Reichskriegerbund (Order V 3/43). So, all cuff titles are only a short, some a very short time in use.
