Personally, I don't like it at all. It looks crude, to say the least. You may want to try looking through a few of the threads on the forum here and compare it to the numerous genuine pieces shown. The thread below would be a good place to start.

Strange, however and in my opinion this is an original example of a post event badge.

Not at all common to see a Ferdinand Hoffstàtter example marked this way.

100% real. These were produced after 1936 when the badge became an honor award of the party. A nice example.

Interesting, Erich-But if anyone should know on these badges, it would be you! I was looking at 2 oddities on it and did not feel comfortable about the castle turret shape for one, and even more so, for the openings in the building to the immediate left of the turret. The openings on this one come up to a triangular shape between them on the posted badge, where as, the other examples shown are well shaped and look like normal windows or door openings. Apparently, after 1936, they must have relaxed the quality standards for the designwork on them!

William, everyone one of these RZM 29 badges all have the same characteristics and shouldn't be confused with those earlier badges sold at the rally.

Ah! You're absolutely right, of course! They're all scarce badges, but I think I'd focus on one of the silver rally badges, if I were hunting for one. I think the History they have to them is the real drawing point.
