    That is an interesting arm shield and it certainly looks the part.
    It is peculiar that both yours visor and the one on German war booty have a similar backing.

    I don't think I would be comfortable adding this one to my collection without further research. Certainly not after Wim has mentioned he had not seen one with a backing cloth (Perhaps the backing cloth would have been the first piece to be lost as I don't see how it fixes to the back of the badge..Glue?)
    Below is a poor attempt at the same badge...this time mounted on a bit of marble.

    Hello!
    For me it's not good!
    I don't like the green cloth who protect the behind...
    You can see of it's make!

    For find a good "NSKK-Ärmelschild Verkehrserziehungsdienst" you most to know :
    -Size and Weight.
    They are realized aluminum printed and the obverse must be identical to the backhand.
    And a original MUST be convex!

    It's very hard to find this award because there is a lot of reproduction!
    I have make 4 years for find this two!

    If I where you a don't buy this one, à really don't like the back!
