NSKK Crash Helmet, Genuine?

Just came across this thread.

On the photos it looks like the eagle is not the original one. Check out the impressions on the leather left and right of the swaz (see red arrows). Are there line impressions visible, which are from the original eagle?

With regards to vent holes ... there are period advertisements, where no vent holes on NSKK helmets are visible. Check this one out. So it might be possible that real NSKK helmets without vent hoes do exist? Of course one could argue, there may be vent holes in the rear part of the helmet, which are not visible in the advertisement.

This one came directly from family of the NSKK member. Unfortunately this helmet misses the leather flaps. They have been cut off some day. However, this is a true original. Check out the inside view. Looks the same like the NSKK helmet in question. No pad and inner lining looking like horse hair. However, this example has a small vent hole on the left and right lateral side.

Lateral view. The vent hole is quite far at the back of the helmet. That could be such an example shown in the advertisement. A possible reason why no holes are visible on the helmet in the ad.
