i guess even if a civilian one that is a period piece it is still period and would display and in any case where would you get a additional eagle to place on it? is the eagle as rare as a complete piece? and as a piece where the two have been put together? its all interesting.

All looks period, but im wondering why the seller has put the leather protector back into the helmet instead of showing all the liner, does this mean there are no markings or tags or that it is a civilian helmet, with an added eagle
