Period Cross Strap ?

Hi,

I got this strap and I am not sure it is a period piece or post-war West German.

It is unmarked.

It resembles period construction, in some ways.. But lacks some of the attributes.. Quality and markings D.G.R.M. / A / Assman Ect; The rivets are newer in my opinion and lack any age that one would expect in a period piece... These are my own opinions / observations of course.. I am usually wrong on such matters and this is just my opinion.... TC m/77 G

Agreed...it's nice for display, but I would expect to see markings on the buckle ,the snap and the leather itself. The Germans marked everything they could fit a mark on.
