Very nice pin! I've got a picture of a man selling these in a large crowd. I'll try and find to post.

Hi, and welcome to the forum.

First of all, it is Third Reich German and 1930/40's in date. It is a fund raising badge or a "tinnie" as they are known by collectors. Sorry I cannot give a better ID for you.

    Cheers, Ade.
Hi Ade and NoPaint, I can't find this badge in the RSS WHW book, and it's not in any of the four Gau WHW books, nor the DJH/DRK book or the VDA book. Now I'm no expert, but that pin is also unlike any tinnie or WHW badge I've seen either. It looks quite unusual to me, don't you think?

Nothing at all! Its a flagbearers sign for the NS-Reichskriegerbund and worn on a darkblue armband on the upper right sleeve together with the members armband on lower arm.

First issued on August 29, 1937. Together with this sign the flagbearer has to wear a gorget.

Its a seldom piece and valued with armband about US$ 150-200 here in Germany. Collector´guilt has one in store for US$ 595,-

    Hi Peter!

Thanks for that info about being an NSRKB item, not my field at all, but I was sure it wasn't a WHW item! Can you recommend a good book for German organisation badges? The only one I have is Handbuch der Abzeichen deutscher Organisationen 1871-1945 by Werner Heering and André Hüsken. It only shows the fronts of the badges, but admittedly it is the 1982 edition I shall purchase a current edition shortly!
