Please help to identify this pin

I'm wondering if anyone could help identify this German WW2 era pin? It belongs to a colleague of my wife's - we are curious to find out which organisation issued it.

Hello.
It is "traditions"/veterans badge of 16. Panzer Division. Afterwar made, these were issued in organized veteran meatings.

Peter is correct.
Not sure when it was made though. Are there any markings on the reverse?
My father would have been entitled to wear this pin.
