    Dear Dave

A splendid meeting commemoration badge. Excellent condition with what appears to be all the gilt intact. The bonus however of an original pin intact!

You know that the Gau Treffen is outside my area of collecting, however what I gather from the Tieste catalogues is that this badge came in two sizes.

    A great find Dave.

    Regards,

    David

Although I cannot comment on its authenticity, sounds like the gentleman have taken care of that already I can, however, appreciate it's beauty. Wonderful looking piece!

In this world there's two kinds of people, my friend. Those with loaded guns, and those who dig. You dig. CE

A beautiful badge indeed... for a while I was looking at getting one of these particular ones myself, just because of the exquisite design --- a lot of examples seem to be missing their original pins but this one is definitely a specimen in very very nice condition -- practically mint!
