Ade - your post above brings up a SOLID point for cloth collectors! I see these at the SOS EVERY YEAR! They are all over - but as this "old" post states, that Ade re-posted - the collector who can pay attention to detail and study an original example will know a fake when they see it. These fakes in Ade's re-post are easy to identify once one has the "knowledge!"

Ive almost been dooped myself on several of these "fake" cloth items... Research through credible reference books and the friendship of forum members has saved me...

    Thanks Duff.

BTW the Heer Panzer trapzoids shown in this thread are also fake. Note the disjointed swastika.

    Cheers, Ade.

[QUOTE=Adrian Stevenson;1500408]I know this is a very old thread. But for info purposes, the Bevo RAD cap badges on the roll are actually 40 year old fakes:

Back to Buckles I suppose !! Hahahahahahaaa JK... WOW.... This is very good information... I have been reading books and such... After skimming through these threads I realize that even publications by various authors are flawed... G

Books are great, I love them.

But the forum is like a book which never goes out of date as it gets constantly updated.

    taken with these.........!

    So true!

And joining up is such a small price to pay for the information one can obtain!

    Nice thread this is!
Are there originals circulating of that type of RAD patch, and if so, can someone post them here?

Sorry I wasn't clear, I mean an original one of the patches Pammy posted (first post) a few years ago.
