    Default RAD Overcoat

    Hello folks, could i have opinions on this coat? i have seen it in person and have no problem with the originality of the parts, only the colour of the coat itself for RAD? could it be an upgraded heer?

    in hand its well worn and it and the insignias blend well, that being said i cant even tell if its insignias matches or is indeed ment too! alot of the knap is worn down few bites on the armband and the bottom hem has been cut, seen better days for sure but is still original i suppose.

    is there any problem with the coats colour i am sure the RAD wool was a different colour?

    the armband is tacked on around the top i highly doubt the RZM tag would still be there going with the worn wool of the coat, unless the knapp gos or thins with age?

    any help is much appreciated here!

    cheers,
    Ewan

    An RZM-tag does not belong into RAD uniforms. The RZM was not competent
    for the labour organizations (Mitteilungsblatt der RZM from March 3, 1935).

    For the armband yes as this was an NSDAP party-item. TA means Textilabzeichen;
    the manufacturer 260 is August Orlob II from Leinefeld. In spring 1935 TA was
    changed into A4.
