Ade, what specifically would have this piece of cloth been worn on? It looks quite large, so I would suspect a uniform sleeve.

Very nice cap badge. Just one question, my badge has a brown background whereas this has a black back ground. Any particular reason?

No reason Tom, just the backing cloth used. You would bearly see it once the badge was folded correctly and sewn in place.

I forgot the sides were folded under, no wonder it looked large. There is a high level of detail in these pieces.
