I've seen alot of breeches before, but these are a little but different, they seem to have a flap over the crotch area, they do button close, but they have this flap, what could they be, they seem to be SA breeches.

Between the knees, the padding looks like leather.

Hi Brian, these are riding breeches. The maker made Riding clothing as evidenced by their label. Most likely from the 1930's/40' though.

    Not SA related.

    Cheers, Ade.

Do you think, that may be they could have been used by an member of the SA, as uniform wear when they first started, as standards were not exact when they first started the SA.

Know what i am trying to say ??

Hi Brian, well anything is possible, but I would not buy them as SA related.

    Cheers, Ade.

    OK, thanks for the info.

They are cheap enough, that i think ill buy them, and if they are period breeches, they should look good, with my SA tunic.
