SA Tinnie

Article about: I picked up this Tinnie with the K98 bayonets. A nice plastic Sa Tinnie with a crack through the wreath , but still serviceable. I believed it's a 1939 rally or work Tinnie not really sure

"SA-Wehrwettkampftage 1939" roughly translates as "SA Military Sports Competition Event 1939". Note that the badge is designed around a depiction of the SA-Wehrabzeichen (SA Military Sports Badge), turned 90 degrees to the right.

The shield on left tells us that the event was held by the SA-Gruppe Westfalen (Westphalia); the one on the right is the actual coat-of-arms for Westphalia.

I appreciate the information Andreas, and I once again thank you

A shame this lovely Tinnie was made from very thin plastic, but I suppose it had to be due to its coloration.

Beautiful looking tinnie, the colors stood the test the time..

Even with the crack, I would have no issues with this being in my tinnie collection..

    Well done, great find..
