great find as a group. was the price pretty reasonable ?
andrew
Hi Andrew, I would say fairly priced but not a great bargain. They cost me about $35 a piece. I've seen tinnies ranging between $30 and $100 a piece so I think I did alright. I pretty much just buy from reputable dealers. I avoid the online auctions because I've been burned so many times. thanks, Al.

Excellent instant collection. All are good.
Cheers, Ade.
Thanks Ade. I actually traded in the bad sidecap we discussed here last week for these. Unfortunately my patience in collecting slowly has grown thin. I like the instant collectuions !

very nice collection, and im glad you mentioned a plastic badge,i have one in a grey silvered effect with the main background in deep red ,shaped like a shield with eagle on top lettering reads SA Sport u Wehrwettkampfe 1.2.3. Juli 1938 DORTMUND it depicts a scene around a mining area, at the bottom of the shield there is a large SA motif and around the motif the words SA Gruppe Westfalen. On the rear Richard Sieper & Sohne Ludenscheid , Any ideas would be appreciated
Dave, post a pic if you can. i'd like to see it. Al.

Re: SA Tinnie Collection
Aldo, i hope you have atleast one SA dagger to go with them ?? lol it's a slippery slope once we start collecting these things. a few leads to a few more lol, and before you know it, you are running out of display space !!! but it's alot of fun getting there. nice finds Aldo.

I actually don't, yet. I'm sure I'll get one soon. I collect mostly headgear & badges and I am completely out of display space already. Cheers, Al.

Re: SA Tinnie Collection
Hi Al, that was a good trade.
Tinnies are very under rated. The design work on some of them is superb.
Cheers, Ade.

Re: SA Tinnie Collection
It is amazing how many different tinnes there actually are. Where I am from, its a lucky day to find one much less a whole collection like that. Congrats on a nice grouping!!
