These are heavily faked badges both and I know that I will attract flak for this crude and basic "idiots guide". Personally I would not consider (emphasise consider as opposed to purchase) any badge which did not support the maker as Poellath, reverse markings on either the circular or rectangular pin support catch.

Dear harryamb2

I for one would greatly appreciate if you could describe in precise detail, the logic behind the advice that you have given here. We have two badges, one with a makers mark and one without. I read your advice that because one badge as marked stands a chance of being original, the other as non marked is what you are guessing - as being "good".

I simply do not understand your logic and thankyou in anticipation of a detailed explanation which undoubtedly will be of great benefit to the forum.

Didn't even know that these were faked, but then what hasn't.
The square one has enamel damage to the skis at the bottom. As has mine.
Don't know if this will help, but here are my two.
