Schuma Cap Emblem for Review

I picked this up earlier this week from my best-good-wrf friend Josh. My great grandfather was probably in the Schuma... so I thought this piece would be appropriate to add to my collection.

Looks original to me, its like the ones that Bill Shea has for sale on his website

Yes, it does appear to be wire... has a high sheen to it that my flash kind of killed.

Hello Gentlemen.

I've been looking for information on this Shuma cap badge that I have and found this thread so would like to piggy back onto the conversation if you don't mind. This badge is very similar to the one that starts this thread but I don't have any experience with this type of insignia. I purchased this badge back in the early nineties when I started collecting again and put it away and forgot about it. Found it today cleaning out some boxes in the War Room.
