Well, at least you can save a few bucks on pins for those two endeavors now
The 11th PD I think is a post-war piece for veterans. I have seen several divisional stickpins by this firm of similar construction, the construction, lack of patina, and frequency lead me to this belief. Still a cool pin if you got a good deal
You might be right, in which case I probably overpaid. The Husken Katalog lists it as a period piece valued at 180 euros, I paid less than that but not by much. This book has been known to be wrong often as well. If it is a post war piece it still has value to me in the collection as long as it's not a fake or fantasy piece. There is a Legion Condor pin that was produced for veterans in the 1950's or 60's that i consider valuable despite being post war as well.

I have heard the Husken catalog is currently being updated to tackle to discrepancies, and add some previously non-included pieces
