The pin was re-soldered but it looks like "A" for Assmann and the usual Ges Gesch, original post #63. Maybe it didn't start out life as stickpin based on the groove on the back.

I added this HJ stickpin to my collection recently. These are controversial primarily because they were only made for a short period and as a result there are a lot of fake copies out there. I feel this may be a good one based on the quality and what appear to be clean sheared edges around the entire diamond. There is some damage to the enamel, hopefully it's true glass enamel and not modern plastic. There is not much on the forum about these other than a thread by Jo Rivett using his USB microscope on one. Short of doing that I'll be happy to hear any comments or opinions on the pin.
