Swastika was and in ancient Greece...it is old symbol

One of the most incongruous uses I have seen is on the war memorial outside the main gate to Balmoral castle, There are about 20 carved and painted red below the names of those commemorated.

there is a swastika on the side of St Clement Daines church in london, the R.A.F, church.

Passed Balmoral today so took the opportunity to photograph the swastikas on the war memorial there.
