It seems that the only items which have proved to be iffy, is the SS skull and Eagle. So on the whole I found the knowledge this site has to be first class.
This is a first for me, never seen a hollow one yet. They are normally found solid.

True Ade, but what worries me a bit is the lack of a uniform lip around the back of badge as one would expect from a stamped badge, such as the one shown below.

Not wanting to doubt anybody just an observation, i've never seen one with a vertical pin.
I went and looked the badge all over and have not discovered any makers marks. Does that sink it ?
