Third Reich Armbands...Fake?

Are these fantasy fake bands? (if you can tell only from a FRONT shot)

Copy of a Hitler youth armband.
Probablly the Luftwaffe one, as it looks the same construction as
the fantasy Red Cross.

The Red Cross armband is definitely fake...I fell for one of those myself and it was pointed out to me on this Forum...

The white material looks to be artificially aged. I would imagine it would glow under a black light as well. As for the hitler youth Armband, yes it is fake, but not a fantasy item as they did exist. The Red Cross armband IS a fantasy item as they didn't exist during the tr period and as for the luffwaffe armband, I am not sure but just by the material I can assure you it is post 45'.

Thank you everyone, I was just wondeing - looking at that luffwaffe band, I was about 90% sure that they're fake - not planning on getting into arm-bands collecting just yet! ( that's advanced stuff )

I agree with the members here regarding these armbands. Good examples of period armbands can be readily found in a wide variety without a lot of funds spent. If you stay with standard accepted styles a nice collection can be assembled.
