I think its a WHW tinnie.[winter help ]
Hi,
It is a NSKOV donation pin - one in a set of three.
Thank you, Glen.
I will move it to the forum where it might garner more response.
Looking for LDO marked EK2s and items relating to U-406.....
This is not correct...it was for the Tag der Wehrmacht event in 1942. A lot of people think that this is NSKOV because of the similarity to the NSKOV logo...but it has nothing to do with it.
There are 3 total pieces in this series. They can be found on page 194 of our book 'Donation Badges of the Third Reich'.

That's awesome. Thank you for the info. Interesting how it was in his back yard.
Dan, thanks for posting this. I found it yesterday about 4-6 inches deep in my back yard in binsfeld. There's alot of what looks to be shards of white porcelin in the dirt too, every time i dug a hole. my landlord says the house was built around 1890.
Thanks for all your answers..I'm a noob. Dan, we need to get together soon

That's pretty cool how it was in your yard. Yeah, we need to go out hunting together soon. I just got back from the woods near my house. Didn't find to much. Mainly .50 cal casings, some 8mm Mauser, and M1 Garand casings, and some old coins. I have one item I'll be posting on here. I think it's the top of a mortar. Not sure though.
