Can someone assist and tell me if this Volksbundpin worn by ethnic Germans in Hungary is real or a fake? the text doesn't seem to know if it wants to be thin or bold, so I'm not getting the best feelings about it.

Ges.Gesch. is a German patent pending mark , why would a Hungarian pin carry such a mark . Also I don't like the pin attachment .

As I understand it such pins were produced in Germany and distributed in other nations to the German populations. I have seen such pins for Croatia and Romania too, different designs on them though.

Hello, it is a post war fantasy badge.
Originals were only in red, with black enamel lettering. White inner circle with only a tiny gap in between the swastika arms.

    All the best

    Hello Casey
Anything with this style of pin attachment is going to be a dud.

The coffin shaped pin attachment is an instant sinker.
