A good guide recognition: WWII GERMAN ARMBANDS PROCE GUIDE - MilitaryItems.com
The inside of the armband has been stamped with a blue ink eagle and swastika. This was a common practice in many armbands.
another way is to visit links as snyder´s treasures ,if it looks as one of he sell , 100% fake
and remember is a piece with 69 years

I personally do not like the construction and believe it is a fake. I have handled 100's of these pieces in my collecting years and have never encountered one with any type of issuance stamp on the backside. Stamps found on armbands are usually eigentum or property stamps. They will be found on the exterior face of the band. Caution as fakers also stamp armbands attempting to validate their fakes.

Your volksturm armband is genuine. The purpose of issuance stamps is so anyone viewing the armband can see the stamp. A stamp on the backside where no one can see it is illogical.

I also saw it as something unusual, but coming from this link militaryitems.com
I give enough credibility.
but he say in "many" not in all.
nd do not specify whether Volkssturm armbands or others, the picture with ink stamp not seem a volkssturm armband.
