wehrmacht armband opinions?.???

Hmmm.. Did that font even exist Pre-ww2 or after ??

I am not fond of it myself.
The lettering is penned on. I can't make out the stamp.
Just my opinion.

And yet THIS armband with it's odd font is considered genuine - it is an armband belonging to a Hospital Staff Person, Heinz Neuberg, at Westerbork Transit Camp in Holland.

Theres so much German stuff about these days, its getting hard to decide whats right and whats wrong. The armband im asking opinions on, looks and smells very old. I bought it with the forestry collar tabs, an army belt buckle, uncut breast eagle and a sleeve rank badge, which are all genuine.

They came from an old guy, who said they all came back from the war. Maybe the armband was a one off home done one at the time ? ? Cheers

Iam inclined to say yes a period item.just a feeling that I have seen it in a photo.

This is not a pattern I have ever encountered. These type of oddities are not something I would want in my collection. In my opinion, the piece is a fake.
