wehrmacht armband opinions?.???

And yet THIS armband with it's odd font is considered genuine - it is an armband belonging to a Hospital Staff Person, Heinz Neuberg, at Westerbork Transit Camp in Holland.

This is not a odd font and is certainly a period choice.

FUTURA BLACK (see below) is part of the Futura typeface series designed Paul Renner. Futura was commissioned in 1927 by the Bauer Type Foundry and commercially released in 1936 and was widely used in print. It is still one of the most popular sans serif fonts used today.
